Composer Bio

Welcome! I'm a composer, classical pianist, and music educator dedicated to creating original music rooted in the traditions of classical composition while embracing the expressive possibilities of film, jazz, rock, and contemporary styles. Whether you're here to explore my compositions, commission an original score, or study piano and composition, I'm glad you've found your way here.

My musical journey began at the age of four with classical piano lessons in my hometown of Olympia, Washington. That early foundation developed into a lifelong passion for composition, performance, and musical storytelling. In 2021, I earned my Bachelor of Music in Composition from Pacific Lutheran University, where I received composition and piano scholarships and graduated with multiple Dean's List honors. Following graduation, I spent two years in Hollywood, California, gaining experience in the professional film music industry and expanding my work in composition, orchestration, and scoring.

Throughout my career, I've composed and performed in a wide range of musical settings, including concert music, chamber ensembles, rock and jazz groups, theatrical productions, and film projects. My experience includes performing as a contestant on America's Got Talent (Season 10), serving as a Washington Music Educators Association All-State baritone, and collaborating with performers, directors, and ensembles across a variety of creative productions.

In addition to composing, I've taught piano, music theory, songwriting, and composition for more than five years, working with students from beginner through advanced levels. I currently teach in the Lawrenceville, Suwanee, Duluth, and greater Gwinnett County, Georgia area, helping students build strong technical foundations while developing creativity, confidence, and musicianship.

My work is guided by the belief that great music combines craftsmanship with emotion. Whether I'm writing a cinematic orchestral score, composing for the concert stage, or teaching the next generation of musicians, my goal is the same: to create music that tells meaningful stories and leaves a lasting impression.

Thank you for visiting. I invite you to explore my portfolio, listen to my latest compositions, and reach out if you're interested in commissions, collaboration, or private lessons.
